This course covers the fundamental design aspects how to match a mobile application design to the look and feel of the Android OS 5.X UI style (with Google Material Design). It explains the differences between Android designs and other mobile platforms and how to avoid make people feel alienated in your app.
In addition, the course covers good and bad designs (patterns and anti-patterns) and it will walk through a UX checklist for a quick and basic evaluation of the user experience of a mobile application for Android OS 5.X.

- Design patterns (no code patterns)
- Critical UI differences between Android 5.X and:
- Previous Android OSes
- Apple iOS
- Windows Phone
Course with integrated exercises. There will be little to no code.
Android mobile devices (phones or tablets), preferable Nexus devices with the latest Android OS.
