This, fast-paced, one day, instructor led, workshop will help prepare students for the new Azure Administrator Certification by covering the objectives outlined by Microsoft for the AZ-102 transition exam.
Students must have completed their Azure 70-533 certification.
The course will explain the fundamental terms and principles for the Microsoft exam objectives. The instructor will use a combination of demonstration, lecture, discussion and quizzes to guide delegates through how to do things, where to do things and focus on the understanding of the topics.
The course will educate students on the objectives as specified by Microsoft on their website for the AZ-102 exam curriculum. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/exam-az-102.aspx
The objectives are taken from the two courses
AZ-100 Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Deployment
AZ-101 Microsoft Azure Integration and Security
AZ-100 Manage Azure subscription and resources
AZ-100 Implement and manage storage
AZ-100 Configure and Manage Virtual Networks
AZ-100 Manage identities
AZ-101 Evaluate and perform server migration to Azure
AZ-101 Implement and manage application services
AZ-101 Implement advanced virtual networking
AZ-101 Secure identities
Please note that on Microsoft's website it does say; “Topics may be asked which aren't included in these objectives.”
After completing the course, delegates will take away the slides with comprehensive notes as a resource which can be used to check understanding of the topics, with extra reading recommendations.
It is highly recommended after the course delegates practice what was taught using the Azure Portal to familiarise themselves with how things are done before sitting the exam.
After attending the workshop self-study will need to be done to fully prepare for the exam.
As this is a 1 day study preparation course all topics will be covered at a high overview level.
Due to the quantity of objectives to be covered, there will be no hands-on Azure practice for the delegates during the day.
