Overview

This three day course introduces participants to the discipline of Business Relationship Management (BRM) and prepares them for the BRMP™ certification (administered by APMG in partnership with the BRM Institute). It covers the principles, frameworks, and tools used by BRMs to align business demand and value delivery, embed relationship capability in organisations, and drive value through maturity. Prior to class, learners receive pre-course reading to familiarise themselves with key concepts.

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for the BRMP training. Completion of ITIL Foundation may be beneficial but is not required. Delegates will also receive pre-course materials and are expected to spend 4–6 hours reviewing them before attending.

Target audience

This course is designed for individuals working as BRMs or those interested in entering the business relationship management domain—including business partners, service delivery managers, liaison roles, enterprise architects, and strategic planners.
