This course has been designed to give you the skills and knowledge to create spreadsheets, business documents and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

You will start from the basics and work through to produce a professional, visually appealing spreadsheet, document and presentation.

Prerequisites

Delegates are not expected to have gained any prior knowledge of PCs before they attend this course. However, it is strongly recommended that they have some keyboard and mouse experience.

Day 2: Microsoft Word

  • Creating and modifying a Word Document
  • Inserting Cover Pages
  • Heading Styles / Navigation Pane
  • Table of Contents
  • Page and Section Breaks
  • Headers and Footers
  • Linking an Excel Chart into a Word Document
  • Inserting Columns and Pictures 

Day 3: Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Creating a new Presentation (Slides / Slide Layouts)
  • Design Templates / Background Colours
  • Inserting Pictures / Audio and Video Files
  • Applying Slide Transitions
  • Using Animations
  • PowerPoint Views
  • Running a Slideshow
