Mastering Your Coaching Skills

Access expert-led QA training live online, wherever you learn best.

Overview

Coaching creates real value when the right conversation shifts behavior and the wrong intervention creates risk. Decision pressure, hybrid work and capacity strain mean people need clear boundaries, strong contracting and a direct line from insight to action. In this 3-hour mastery workshop, participants work with live coaching challenges and practice through realistic scenarios that test judgement. The session focuses on agreements and trust, sensemaking and decisions, behavior change through action and review, and sound judgement on digital and AI guardrails, strengthened through structured peer challenge. Participants leave with practical habits that keep coaching ethical, grounded and effective in everyday work and collaboration.

Prerequisites

Participants should have:

  • Demonstrable experience in coaching individuals or teams within a professional setting.
  • A foundational understanding of coaching models and feedback techniques.
  • Exposure to organisational leadership, transformation, or talent development programmes.

Target audience

This course is designed for experienced professionals seeking to expand their coaching influence to an organizational level. It is ideal for senior leaders, HR business partners, transformation managers, and leadership coaches focused on embedding coaching cultures and supporting executive development.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Recognize the principles and enablers that guide coaching mastery in modern work.
  • Use tools to reframe, test, and improve coaching responses under real-world conditions.
  • Apply reflective questioning to reframe assumptions and uncover new perspectives in coaching conversations and growth.
  • Design visible habits and routines that embed coaching strategies into daily work.

  • Peer challenge lab: Peer questioning sharpens judgement and prevents drift into advice, therapy or covert performance management.
  • Coaching for today and beyond: Routines are designed that keep coaching visible through consistent contracting, action and review.

Exams and assessments

There are no formal exams in this course. Participants will complete peer feedback activities, reflective coaching exercises, and scenario-based practice to apply the techniques discussed.
