Overview

Influence matters most when authority is limited and outcomes still rely on commitment. Attention overload, engagement fatigue and shifting power dynamics make alignment harder to earn and easier to lose, especially across functions and competing priorities. In this 3-hour mastery workshop, participants bring live stakeholder challenges and work through a pressured negotiation scenario with real tension and trade-offs. The session focuses on setting direction that lands, creating shared meaning, handling power ethically, and making follow-through visible so ownership builds rather than compliance, sharpened through structured peer questioning. Participants leave with practical routines that sustain engagement and show impact in measurable outcomes such as pace, alignment and delivery follow-through.

Prerequisites

Participants should have:

  • Substantial experience in leadership, management, or strategy roles.
  • An understanding of communication, negotiation, and organisational behaviour.
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration or enterprise-level transformation initiatives.

Exams and assessments

There are no formal exams in this course. Learners participate in scenario-based exercises, reflective discussions, and peer feedback sessions that reinforce strategic influence principles.
