Overview

The goal of this course is to provide you with the knowledge required to use more advanced formulas and work with various tools to analyze data in spreadsheets, such as advanced sorting and filtering, and conditional formatting. You will also organise table data and present data in different visuals, such as charts and maps.

The course emphasizes hands-on experience, with a series of instructor guided and independent tasks that mirror real workplace challenges. Attendees will have the option to apply learning to realistic scenarios from one of seven sectors: Retail, Education, Local Government, Legal, Policing, Healthcare, or Finance.

Prerequisites

This course is aimed at existing Excel users who need to further their knowledge. Delegates are assumed to have experience of entering data and writing basic formulas, including common functions such as SUM and AVERAGE.

Target Audience

This course is designed for users who already have a foundational understanding of Excel and want to develop their skills further in a practical, applied context. It is particularly suited to professionals who regularly work with data and want to improve productivity and analytical capability.

*Contains features which are not available in every version of Excel, and as such may not be shown during the training course.

**Please note, the inclusion of Infographics is dependent upon the add-ins being installed on the learner’s PC. If your organisation does not permit the installation the topic may not be covered by the Trainer. This will be included if the training is located at a QA Training Centre.
