Overview
This hands-on workshop provides a comprehensive understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The course equips learners with the knowledge and skills to architect scalable, secure, and efficient OCI solutions. Combining theoretical insights with practical application, this workshop prepares participants to confidently address real-world cloud infrastructure challenges.
Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
- Familiarity with networking, storage, and general IT infrastructure.
- Experience with any cloud platform is beneficial but not mandatory.
Target audience
- IT professionals transitioning to cloud-based roles.
- System architects and engineers involved in designing cloud solutions.
- Developers seeking to expand their knowledge of OCI.
- Technical managers overseeing cloud transformation projects.
Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand and implement foundational OCI services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
- Apply identity and access management principles to secure cloud environments.
- Design and configure virtual cloud networks and connectivity solutions.
- Utilise advanced OCI tools like load balancers, DNS management, and object lifecycle management.
- Manage databases, object storage, and block storage to optimise performance and availability.
- Monitor and secure OCI resources using built-in observability and security services.
