Immersive Core

Overview

Immersive Core establishes the foundation organisations need to build, exercise, and prove cyber readiness. We combine cyber readiness, exercising, validation, and measurement experience, enabling learners to build and improve practical capability through hands-on labs and a business and technical resilience exercise simulation.

It also addresses the requirement to prove AI and agent readiness, developing knowledge and practical security skills for AI-enabled systems. Learners have access to all course materials and labs for 12 months.

Onboarding to Immersive Core environment

• Become familiar with the learning environment, exercise format, available labs and tools, and navigation
• Simulation discovery and choice, learn how to respond within the simulation

Business and technical exercise simulation

• Apply understanding through a combined business and technical exercise
• Work through a realistic cyber security simulation scenario
• Test technical response, decision-making, communication, and organisational resilience

Assessment and improvement

• Build knowledge and practical capability across individuals and teams
• Exercise capability against realistic threats, incidents, and crisis scenarios
• Prove readiness using assessments, exercise performance, framework mapping, and measurable evidence
• Use data and insights to identify gaps and direct capability development

Exams and assessments

No formal examination, however, learners progress from understanding concepts to applying practical skills, before being challenged to use those capabilities under increasingly realistic operational conditions.
