Dirk Schmidt is a strategic finance professional with over 20 years of experience and Country CFO of IKEA Finland, (a role he has held since 2018). He also serves as a Board Member of IKEA Real Estate Oy and Chairperson of the board of the Finnish Ingka Wind Farm and Forestry companies. Prior to his current role, Dirk served as Country Business Navigation Manager at IKEA Oy. He began his career, after studying Strategy and Finance in Germany and the US, working in corporate finance and M&A advisory in Finland for Summa Capital and Clearwater Corporate Finance.
