This one-day instructor-led course provides delegates with a technical overview of cloud computing.
Target Audience:
This course is suitable for engineering, technical management and sales/marketing staff who have no prior knowledge of the cloud.
Prerequisites

In this module we’ll discuss exactly what is the cloud, what it offers and where is cloud technology used

What are public, private, hybrid and community clouds and when are they used
Cloud concerns
Cloud is fairly new, in this module we’ll discuss the concerns organisation have when they are looking at moving to the cloud
Cloud architecture
What are Infrastructure, Platform and Software as a Service (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS) and when is each used and for what reasons
“The big three” Infrastructure and Responsibility
Amazon, Microsoft and Google dominate the cloud market, but what infrastructure do they offer and what are their responsibilities as cloud providers

How cloud storage works and what levels of protection, security and governance is offered with cloud storage
