Overview
ITIL® Managing Professional Transition (Version 5) provides the most efficient upgrade route for experienced ITIL professionals who hold either: ITIL 4 Managing Professional, ITIL 4 Master, ITIL v3 Expert or ITIL v3 Master certifications. The 5-day course focuses exclusively on the key enhancements introduced in ITIL (Version 5) across Foundation, Product, Service, Experience and Transformation.

This course includes two formal certification exams delivered online through PeopleCert, allowing learners to take each exam separately and at a time that suits their schedule.
ITIL Managing Professional Transition (Version 5) exam
- 60 multiple-choice questions
- Open book – The official ITIL Product, Service and Experience books may be used during the exam, including notes made within the text. No other reference materials are permitted
- 120-minutes duration
- Pass mark: 42 out of 60 (70%)
ITIL Transformation (Version 5) exam
- 40 multiple-choice questions
- Open book – The official ITIL Transformation (Version 5) book may be used during the exam, including notes made within the text. No other reference materials are permitted
- 90-minutes duration
- Pass mark: 28 out of 40 (70%)
After completing this ITIL Managing Professional Transition (Version 5) course, your certification will migrate to the following designations:
- ITIL 4 Master migrates to ITIL Master (Version 5)
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional migrates to ITIL Managing Professional (Version 5)
