ISO 37001 Lead Implementer

The PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Implementer eLearning training course is designed to enable attendants to implement an Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS) based on the requirements of ISO 37001 and establish a framework for a sustainable management of actual or potential bribery situations.

This training course aims to help individuals become competent in establishing, managing, and continually improving an Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS) based on ISO 37001 by using up-to-date industry best practices. It also enables participants to help organizations comply with anti-bribery laws, establish effective controls, and contribute to a culture of integrity, transparency, and compliance.

After attending the eLearning training course, you can take the exam. If you successfully pass, you can apply for the PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Implementer credential, which demonstrates your ability and practical knowledge to implement an ABMS based on the requirements of ISO 37001.

Learning objectives

Upon successful completion of this training course, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the fundamental concepts and principles of an Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS) based on ISO 37001.
  • Interpret the ISO 37001 requirements for an ABMS from the perspective of an implementer.
  • Initiate and plan the implementation of an ABMS based on ISO 37001 by utilizing PECB’s IMS2 Methodology and other best practices.
  • Support an organization in operating, maintaining, and continually improving an ABMS based on ISO 37001.
  • Prepare an organization for a third-party certification audit.

This training course is intended for:

  • Project managers and consultants involved in anti-bribery.
  • Individuals responsible for ensuring conformity to anti-bribery requirements within an organization, including the requirements of ISO 37001.
  • Members of an ABMS implementation team.

Prerequisites

The main requirement for participating in this training course is having a fundamental understanding of ISO 37001 requirements and comprehensive knowledge of implementation principles.

Examination

The PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Implementer examination fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP).

The examination evaluates candidates in the following competency domains:

  • Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of an Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS)
  • Domain 2: Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS)
  • Domain 3: Planning an ABMS implementation based on ISO 37001
  • Domain 4: Implementing an ABMS based on ISO 37001
  • Domain 5: Monitoring and measuring an ABMS based on ISO 37001
  • Domain 6: Continual improvement of an ABMS based on ISO 37001
  • Domain 7: Preparing for an ABMS certification audit

Certification

After successfully passing the examination, candidates may apply for a PECB certification.

Participants who pass the exam but do not yet meet the professional experience requirements are eligible for the PECB Certified Provisional ISO 37001 Implementer credential.

Candidates with two years of professional experience, including one year in anti-bribery management, and 200 hours of implementation project experience may apply for the PECB Certified ISO 37001 Implementer credential.

Candidates with five years of professional experience, including two years in anti-bribery management, and 300 hours of implementation project experience may apply for the PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Implementer credential.

The internationally recognized PECB Certified ISO 37001 Lead Implementer certification demonstrates that the holder possesses the professional knowledge and practical competencies required to implement, manage, and continually improve an Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS) based on the requirements of ISO 37001.
