Target Group

The Implementing and Operating Cisco Data Center Core Technologies (DCCOR) course prepares learners for the Cisco CCNP Data Center and CCIE Data Center certifications, equipping them with the skills required for advanced data center roles. Participants will develop expertise in implementing data center compute, LAN, and SAN infrastructure, as well as essential automation and security concepts.

The course provides hands-on experience in deploying, securing, operating, and maintaining Cisco data center infrastructure, including Cisco MDS Switches, Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) B-Series Blade Servers, and UCS C-Series Rack Servers.

This course includes five instructor-led training days and three self-study days, allowing learners to reinforce their understanding through additional materials.

It prepares learners for the 350-601 Implementing Cisco Data Center Core Technologies (DCCOR) exam and earns them 64 Continuing Education (CE) credits towards recertification.

Goal

Upon completing this course, learners will be able to:

  • Implement routing and switching protocols in data center environments
  • Deploy overlay networks within a data center
  • Introduce Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) concepts and Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) domain integration
  • Describe Cisco Cloud Services and deployment models
  • Implement Fibre Channel fabric and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) unified fabric
  • Implement security features in data centers
  • Manage software and monitor infrastructure performance
  • Configure Cisco UCS Fabric Interconnect and server abstraction
  • Establish SAN connectivity for Cisco UCS environments
  • Explain Cisco HyperFlex infrastructure concepts and benefits
  • Implement automation and scripting tools in a data center environment
  • Evaluate automation and orchestration technologies
