The ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Management (CTAL-TM) training provides the advanced knowledge and competencies required to take full responsibility for managing software testing activities across the entire development lifecycle.
CTAL-TM v3.0 is the latest released version of the ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level – Test Management certification. Anyone who has been studying for CTAL-TM version 2012 can find information here until the sunset dates (30th May 2025 for English, 30th November 2025 for non-English).
This training prepares professionals to define and implement test strategies tailored to specific project and organizational needs. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of managing testing within various lifecycle models—including Agile and hybrid approaches—as well as how to align test planning with business objectives. Topics include risk-based testing, stakeholder engagement, test estimation, defect management, and the effective leadership of test teams.
Tieturi is an accredited ISTQB/ISEB trainer by FiSTB (Finnish Software Testing Board).
