You will learn how leadership has changed with the rise of agile and self-managing teams, and what structural and operational changes are needed due to increased agility in organizations. The world is changing rapidly and uncertainty in the business environment is growing. Traditional management models are no longer sufficient when the ability to adapt to rapid changes and make quick decisions is needed. Therefore, more and more companies are adopting agile methods and looking for agile leaders to drive their organization towards success. Agile leadership is not just a trend, but a proven and effective way to lead organizations. Research shows that companies managed using agile methods are more innovative, more efficient and more successful in competition.
Agile approaches have been adopted by many organizations, but they do not always produce the desired results. Often, success is not only due to agile teams, but the entire organization's management style and support for enabling success has determined whether agility really provides genuine value or whether it simply turns into a routine new process.

The course is particularly suitable for leaders and managers whose organisation utilises or implements agile operating models. The training is also useful forprofessionals who support agile teams, such as project managers, scrum masters and HR professionals, who want to increase openness, collaboration, decision-making skills and responsiveness to change enabled by continuous learning and feedback.
This training focuses on the skills needed in today's leadership, especially in organizations that leverage agility. The training does not focus on agile frameworks or agile operating models, thus the participant should already have basic knowledge of agility, see Prerequisites section.

Prerequisites
This training focuses on utilizing agile operating methods specifically in leadership. Everyone is welcome to participate in the training, regardless of their previous level of experience, but it is beneficial to have a previous understanding of agile, e.g. through Scrum Fundamentals or Kanban Basics courses.
